The Magical Mycelium Socks are designed by Stone Knits. Inspired by the magic of discovering bright toadstools deep in the forest, the Magical Mycelium socks celebrate a love of mushrooms with playful stranded colourwork from cuff to toe. Knit top down with a twisted rib cuff, no-wrap short row heel and grafted toe, the pattern features repeating 3-colour toadstool motifs across the leg and foot. Designed for magic loop knitting, the socks can also be worked on small circulars or DPNs and are available in 4 sizes.

The kit includes:

• 5x Exmoor Sock full skeins (50g each) in Drumble (MC, 2X), Bibble Bug (CC1), Quickbeam (CC2), Mizzle (CC3)

• A digital pattern (it can also be added to your Ravelry library), available in English, German and French

Sizing

Available in size 1 (2, 3, 4):

• To fit foot circumference: 18 - 19.5 (19.5 – 21, 22.5 – 24, 23.5 – 25) cm / 7 ¾ (8 ½, 9 ½, 10) inches
• Finished circumference: 17.5 (19, 22, 23) cm / 7 (7 ¾, 8 ¾, 9 ¼) inches

The pattern is designed with approximately 2 cm (¾ inch) of negative ease.

Yarn

Any fingering weight sock yarn can be used if gauge is achieved.

Sample colours shown:

• MC: Drumble
• CC1: Bibble Bug
• CC2: Quick Beam
• CC3: Mizzle

Needles

• 2.5 mm needles for colourwork and ribbing

Gauge

• 38 sts x 46 rnds = 10cm (4 inches) for ribbing and stockinette.
• 36 sts x 44 rnds = 10cm (4 inches) for colourwork.
