Today’s pattern inspiration is the beautiful Précieuses Socks by Tricot Design MCL. These elegant socks begin at the ankle with a delicate lace panel paired with a twisted rib stitch, creating a refined texture that feels special without being overly complicated.

Worked top down, the socks feature a classic, time-tested construction with a reinforced heel flap and gusset. This makes them not only lovely to knit, but also comfortable and durable enough for everyday wear, a perfect balance of beauty and practicality.

🧶💛Yarn recommendation:

For this pattern, I recommend Exmoor Sock by John Arbon Textiles. It’s a wonderfully durable yarn with a soft handle and excellent stitch definition, making it ideal for showcasing lace and textured stitches. Lace patterns are usually most visible in lighter shades, so for this design I chose the colourways:
